If Bach had not written his Brandenburg 3rd – would Honegger have composed his Prelude?

If Shostakovich had been born 100 years later – would his music have been as dramatic?

If Mozart had lived longer – would Satie have written for string orchestra?

It is always fascinating to wonder about the creative process- what connects one great work to another, one composer to another- where is the inspiration for a masterpiece? Or perhaps all great works are predestined to be created at their particular time in history and until then, are patiently waiting on the shelves of the library of creativity.

In the search for the answers to these questions, we are eager to share with you our selection of inspired works from Bach to the present time.

Welcome to our 9th Season!
