Under the direction of Airat Ichmouratov, join Nouvelle Generation Orchestra and brilliant soloists, Serhiy Salov and Paul Merkelo for the first concert of the fifth season. The evening features a delicious mix of Italian charm and Russian passion in Tchaikovsky’s high spirited Souvenir De Florence. Shostakovich’s piano concerto will then delight and surprise with rich lyricism and witty humour, constantly changing and defying expectations. Airat’s beautiful Scherzo and Grave will bring us into the present day with his dreamlike, atmospheric and emotionally charged world.
