Beethoven’s music is without a doubt the most recognizable amongst the classical repertoire. But its influence reaches far beyond classical music and some of the most memorable rock song of all time owes a great deal to this master composer. To open the concert the String Quartet No. 10 in E-flat major, Op. 74 nicknamed “the Harp” will dazzle you with its vitality, heart, invention and accessibility.
