Three Faces of Ebony

Saturday, December 10th at 7:30 p.m.

Salle Claude Champagne

Join Nouvelle Generation Orchestra, under the direction of  Airat Ichmouratov for the spectacular performance: The Three Faces of Ebony.  This exciting, eclectic concert will feature the virtuoso soloist, Mark Simons on Clarinet, showcasing three different sides of his instrument through classical, Klezmer and Jazz styles. The talented and critically acclaimed soloist for both classical and Jazz, Matt Herskowits will then join on piano for Gershwin’s exquisite Rhapsody in Blue. In addition, enjoy an exciting journey with ONG from the contrasting worlds of Stravinsky’s Concerto in D, one of his most bright and accessible works, to the sorrowful Shoushanik by Mirzoyan, to the bright, breezy and spontaneous Dag Wiren’s Serenade.
